Every supplier on Select2Connect goes through a verification process before they can accept bookings. Here's what we check:
Identity Verification — We verify the identity of the business owner or director using government-issued ID.
Public Liability Insurance — We require valid public liability insurance (minimum £1 million cover) and verify the policy documents.
Waste Carrier Licence — For waste-related services (skip hire, rubbish removal, garden clearance), we verify the supplier holds a valid Environment Agency waste carrier licence.
Goods-in-Transit Insurance — For man & van and removals services, we verify goods-in-transit cover to protect your belongings.
External Reviews — Where available, we display the supplier's Google and Trustpilot ratings for additional transparency. This supplier's external review rating is shown for additional transparency and is sourced from their public Google or Trustpilot profile.
Ongoing Monitoring — Verification is not a one-time check. We periodically re-verify credentials and monitor customer feedback.
Customer Protection
Secure Payments — All payments are processed through Stripe. Your card details are never stored on our servers. Payment is held securely until the service is confirmed as delivered.
Cancellation Protection — Cancel more than 48 hours before your scheduled date for a full refund. Between 24–48 hours, receive a 75% refund. Same-day cancellations are reviewed case by case.
Dispute Resolution — If something goes wrong, we will review the situation and mediate between you and the supplier. Where appropriate, we will issue a partial or full refund.
Supplier Monitoring — Suppliers who receive repeated complaints or fail to meet our standards may be suspended or removed from the platform.

Supplier Protection
Verified Customers — Customers must provide valid contact details and payment information before booking.
Guaranteed Payment — Payment is taken at the time of booking and held securely. Once the job is confirmed complete, your earnings are released within 48 hours.
Fair Dispute Process — Both sides are heard in any dispute. We do not automatically side with the customer.
No Upfront Costs — There are no listing fees, no monthly subscriptions, and no lead charges. You only pay a 12% commission on completed bookings.
